This tumbler is hand thrown on the pottery wheel. The Texas shape is created using a wax resist to prevent glaze from coating that area.
These thumb cups are very comfortable to hold. The thumb indent makes it ideal to keep a firm grip and hold with smaller hands. They are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. They work well for both hot and cold drinks. Many people use them for coffee in the morning without issue. The walls of these cups are thick enough to protect hands from hot coffee.
Please note: All ceramics are handmade and may have slight imperfections. If very hot liquid is poured into cup, it may become hot to handle, but will cool down after a few minutes.
