This tumbler is hand thrown on the pottery wheel. Leaves are pressed into the clay while it is still soft to allow the veins and outline to appear. Ceramic stain is brushed onto the leaf imprints and wiped off. This allows the color to stay primarily in the veins.


These thumb cups are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. They work well for both hot and cold drinks. Many people use them for coffee in the morning without issue. The walls of these cups are thick enough to protect hands from hot coffee.


Please note: All ceramics are handmade and may have slight imperfections. If very hot liquid is poured into cup, it may become hot to handle, but will cool down after a few minutes.
